Activate Your Service *

1. Your SIM card is ready to be used when you received it from us.
2. Charge the battery of your mobile phone adequately.
3. Take out the thumbnail sized SIM card from its holder and then insert the SIM card into your GSM mobile phone accurately.
4. When travel to China, turn your phone on.
5. Enter PIN 1234 if requested
6. Its OK and start calling.

* A SIM unlocked (means your mobile phone can work with any other SIM card) GSM 900MHZ and GSM 1800MHz dual-band or tri-band compatible mobile phone is required. If you are not sure if your cell phone is unlocked please contact your carrier or seller.
* The card will be completed local set up before shipping. Its initial period of validity is 60 days since the local set up finished.


Receiving Calls

Its a local China mobile phone number with sim card. To call the number outside of China: International dail prefix + country code (86) + mobile phone number. For instance, number 13901000000, call from USA, one should dail: 011-86-13901000000.

By default, GPRS / EDGE function is opened. The rate is 2 yuan / day including 5 MB traffic, 1 yuan / MB for exceeding traffic.

2. If yes ask the service to active the monthly GPRS plan you want to apply. If not call 020-10086 (China Mobile Guangzhou hotline) for the service. The personal PIN required.
3. When applied, the data plan will work at once for its the first GPRS data plan for this card.

If you can read Chinese, just send SMS "BLGPRS" to 10086 to apply data plan. To cancel current data plan, send SMS "QXGPRS" to 10086. To check your current data plan, send SMS "CXGPRS" to 10086, to check traffic, send SMS "CXGPRSTC" to 10086.

Almost impossible. The most sim cards in China now require prepaid, whatever the carrier, that means if no money left on your card balance, the service will be suspended. No matter you have a contract with the carrier or not.
